Countdown!

I just got back from a long camping trip and as I sift through the photos please enjoy these French related blogs...

My Grandma found this one and I love it more then any(thanks grandma! & grandpa too!)... www.theparisblog.com

And this is the blog called What Parisians Like... remember the title when reading the entry!

Ok, you'd think french II would have given me the confidence to plunge into Paris without a fear, but, from here on out I'm only listening to my french tapes(just to be sure)! 19 days and counting! I leave for NYC the Thursday after NEXT!!!!!!!!

Camping pics soon!

With My Own Two Ears

The pear trees limbs  are snapping off from being so heavy with fruit. These bad boys typically aren't ready till late September, so lets hope the tree stays upright!

I decided to grow corn this year as an experiment. I had a lot of nay-sayers go on and on about the debatable viability of corn growth in our NW climate. Turns out all one needs is good old compost and some love and corn will probably grow anywhere. I cannot wait to indulge in the fruits of my labor quietly roasted over a campfire in the mountains this weekend.

I've Missed You More

I'd like to say I've been busy or out on exciting adventures but really, I have no good excuses. What's important though is after a long hiatus I am back, and promise a multitude of posts before I leave for New York and Paris in 19 days. For now heres some iffy photos that sum up my absence.

Only in Seattle.

I love the beach. Biking out to the water on a hot day and reading on the cool grass is the best.

The boys hanging out on the stoop where we sit on hot evenings and drink wine.
