This building had a big jack-o-lantern lit up on the side using the indoor office lights. I tried to take a picture while driving but it didn't work. Maybe it'll be in the newspaper and i'll post it. it was pretty cute and shocking to see.

Made a cover for my computer, it turned out well. pretty leaves at the arboretum. and my integrated pest management system. when i moved into the new home there was a spider infestation in the backyard, so i put up my bird feeders. they get a lot of traffic. i have a resident woodpecker that likes my suet feeder, he scares me everytime he visits and the cat scares him from the window so i haven't got a picture of him yet.

Was in LA last weekend, taking in all the sunshine, playing with the family, it was amazing. Sorry not many posts, big O Chem exam tomorrow then i'll be back on track. Rain all day here, cold too, kitty hasn't left her cooker for days.

day dream

A few weeks ago my camera and I went on the King County CSA Farm tour. All the farms that contribute to the cities farmers markets were open to the public and you could drive from one to another and get tours, pet animals, and wander around. It was one of the most amazing days ever. The weather was great, sprinkling with momentary glimpses of sunlight, the fall flowers were all in bloom. I drove through some of the most beautiful places i've ever seen, cuddled with a baby yak and a week old cow and picked dahlias. perfect.
