This was my first week of school again. I think summer school is going to be tough business! Luckily the weather has been perpetual cloudiness with sudden bouts of rain, so I don't mind being stuck inside crunching numbers. The housing search is on full swing, I still can't believe I have to leave this place, it makes me really sad. The hydrangea I've been babying for 3+ years is having its best start to summer ever with more huge blooms then you could imagine in the prettiest shade of blue, I wish I could take it with me. Change is good right?
Speaking of change, awhile back I was talking about someone I knew with no garbage, just recycled everything and my aspirations for doing so. The update: I now have 4, yes 4 garbage cans. One for straight recycling, one for food compost, one for other compost and lastly, the trash. The stuff that goes in the trash has all been plastic wrap. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic, I didn't realize this as much before. Anyways I only have to take out the trash once a month, its great and I'm saving the world.
Also, this week, although the weather hasn't been all that, it has been one of the most beautiful weeks ever in Seattle. I often forget how pretty it is here all socked in rain. This week it cleared up and you could see the HUGE mountains on all sides of us! From Mt. Baker in the north, all the way down the Cascades, Mt. Rainier, the giant in the south, and across the sound to the Olympic mountain range. The amazing snow capped peaks all around mixed with the smell of the ocean blocks from my house made me smile all week. Truly amazing.

Great Weekend
Had a great afternoon yesterday, watched a good basketball game then went to Shortys and killed some people at pinball(thanks kel)! My brother made it to Nepal but is having some trouble with getting stuff on his blog, sounds like hes having a great time. Back to school and work, luckily its finals week so no class I can sleep in. I should probably be studying. I look forward to some time off after!!(camping!!!) Then summer quarter.

Talkin' About Our Own Style
Ah, a rainy day(year) in Seattle. Makes studying for finals easier. If this keeps up I'm moving to So. Cal!(make some room Gma!)
No pics today, the computer just won't do it.
I've come to terms about having to leave my beautiful apartment.
Some Cons about my current abode:
Flying Ants-an ongoing problem that grosses me out daily
No water pressure- This would break a lot of people but I've grown accustomed to a trickling shower head, all other showers now feel like I'm getting sandblasted. It will be nice to have a consistant shower.
My sharply sloped lawn- Its nice to have a back yard but no one can hang out on the grass because after the little garden my grass starts a steep descent into the back garden. Its very awkward.
Other then that its perfect but I look forward to a new place with its own, different cons.
Guess I'll get back to studying, erg.

Foggy Cold
So nice to be here! Had Vietnamese with aaron, namgyal and megan, the best bubble shake thing ever! So nice to see megs and a night of catching up. Today my parents come! I'm excited to spend time with the family all at once! Its foggy and cold, I wish it was so sunny. Aarons view of the whole bay is breathtaking, no pics till I get home though.
