I had left my garden in limbo when I went on my trip, a million green tomatoes, lettuce that had gone to seed and beets the size of softballs. While I was gone the sun shone more then usual and oranged up my tomatoes a bit, while everything else seems to have survived and if anything done better without me bothering it. Now lets hope we get just enough sun to ripen a few more tomatoes until the frost arrives and the rain stays away until I get all the winter seeds to a squirrel tolerant height.  I will be pickling beets and green tomatoes for weekends to come, if you want me to send you some, lemme know, I will.
