Sat 11 Feb Diani to Mombasa

We woke up and enjoyed a nice breakfast with Jen. We planned on spending half the day in Diani then driving back to Mombasa so we could easily catch our flight at 4am Sunday. We packed our things and lounged around until Jen had a kite surfing lesson down the beach. We walked, enjoying the last moments in the fine white sand and chatted for about an hour. Tommy and I relaxed in the sun as Jen flew up and down the shoreline. We took a cab back to Asha, checked out and said our goodbyes to Jen(we will defiantly miss her on the rest of our travels!) then headed off for the ferry.
It was a long hot ride with some good people watching. We made it to Jens house and realized we didn't have the key for the padlock that locks us in(!) at night. We negotiated with an elderly Indian couple at the bottom of the stairs who know a few words of English to let us out at 4am. We went to take a shower but the water wasn't working again. We set out for a restaurant called Bollywood Bites, had a fantastic Dosa and some dal. We tuktuked home, Tommy got to argue the fare for the last time.
We somehow managed to get all the things in our suitcases(we may have to mail some things back in Nairobi!) and fell asleep.
I didn't take a a lot of pictures today, except for the camel toe prints!
