We had a lovely breakfast then set out is tuktuk to the Spice Harbour Hotel for some swimming. The place was fancy pants. It was strange to open a door and feel like you were in a different world. There was just enough trash in the ocean and smoke drifting through the air to remind you what was behind the walls. After some lounging and swimming we went wandering, had a great lunch and headed back for A/C time.
Out again for some afternoon tea and cake and the post office. They have a great bookstore here that we like to browse. I got a local cookbook. Then back for a lovely dinner. Tomorrow is our last day here, then onto Alleppey. I have a feeling we will go wandering!
